Before relocating to Shenzhen, China, I taught Taiwanese children English online. I thoroughly enjoyed it because I could see their progress after each lesson. I used the Tutor ABC online learning platform which allowed me to leave daily feedback for each student. I also taught South American adults English online using the Rosetta Stone platform. That was also quite fulfilling because they wanted to improve conversational English and business English, unlike my Taiwanese students who were primarily focused on academic English.
Sharing knowledge in various fields, especially in language and music, has always allowed me to express my passion and share the importance of education.
Education does indeed change lives, but even more so when you have a passionate educator like myself; seeing students grow from all levels is what makes this job rewarding.
