About me

Known for being the jack of all trades and a versatile female in the 21st century, I, Lebo Poen am an educator, music composer, writer, artist, book nerd, and an overall passionate person.

Moved by socio-political issues such as violence against men, women, children, and genocide, I believe my passion for making the world a better place is seen through my various skills. Currently, I am based in Shenzhen, China but home is South Africa, where breathtaking natural landscapes, rich cultural diversities, and wild safaris is where life begins.

My multilingual proficiency allows me to settle into any area of choice. I am fluent in English, Afrikaans, Setswana, Sesotho, Sepedi, and isiZulu. I matriculated from Bluehills College, before obtaining my Diploma in Audio Engineering, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science degree.

I also hold moderator and assessor certificates for the Performing Arts Skills Programme (CathsSetha registered), and TEFL certificates. Over the years, I have held several positions in my various passion pillars. I worked as a sport writer, before kicking off my career in sound engineering.

I then worked as a radio technical producer, creative arts teacher, information officer and sound technology lecturer. In my previous place of employment, I held a few different roles including front-of-house administrator, educator and sound engineer at an established music school specialising in training music producers and sound engineers.

Currently, I am an educator in Shenzhen, China. With my many passions, and plenty more to come, I offer a range of solutions.
